Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12 hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Perform CT imaging including basic CT scans, CTA scans, CT brain perfusions, and trauma scans.
• Must have experience with PACS system and GE CT scanner.
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months is required and must be documented on profile.
• No on-call required.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year required.
• Experience with Epic required.
• Experience with GE Healthcare CT scanners required.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service.
• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually.
• Employment eligibility verification (I9/E-Verify) required.
• Diploma/transcript required for Cath Lab specialty.
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; TB questionnaire updated annually.
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year, updated annually; no PAPR allowed.
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (11/1 - 3/31); no exemptions accepted.
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start.
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
• Complete employment application/resume required.
• Skills checklist as applicable to specialty.

Certifications

• ACLS required for RNs and RRTs (not applicable here but noted).
• BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Other certifications (PALS, NRP, EFM, NIH Stroke, etc.) as applicable to specialty and role.

Additional Notes

• EPIC test-out required prior to or shortly after start; only one attempt allowed to pass. Failure to pass results in contract cancellation.
• Appearance standards must be reviewed and signed prior to start.
• Candidates may start with EPIC pending but must complete onsite testing promptly.

Experience Requirements Summary

• Specialty experience: Minimum 1 year CT experience preferred (higher requirement applied).
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required.

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with solid experience in advanced CT imaging, PACS, and GE scanners, who are comfortable working night shifts on a travel contract basis.
