Location: Thornton, Colorado

- Unit Type: Medical Acute Care (Med/Surg)
- Number of Beds: 26
- Staffing (Day Shift): Charge nurse, 4 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Staffing (Night Shift): Charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs
- Patient Ratio: 6:1
- Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Sequential Compression Devices (SCD) machines
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Job Description
- Care for medical patients including post-op radial cardiac catheterization patients
- Administer some drips such as heparin
- High energy unit with a focus on teamwork and a fun, hardworking culture
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year in an acute care hospital setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
