Registered Nurse (ICU / Step-Down ICU) - Rockford, IL

Job Description
- Provide nursing care in ICU and Step-Down ICU units.
- Must have strong ICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, and state laws.
- Document care according to standards.
- Develop and execute individualized patient care plans, including patient and family education.
- Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units to support patient care continuity.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating concerns appropriately.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care Float experience, including within the last year
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
- Stepdown experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

- Prior travel experience is required.
