CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Position: CT Technologist (CAT SCAN specialty)
• Department: Medical Imaging
• Shift: 40 hours per week, including every other weekend
• Call: None
• Patient Population: All ages, primarily geriatric and adults
• Equipment: Siemens Definition 40 slice and Siemens Definition Flash 128 slice CT scanners
• EHR Systems: EPIC, Change (McKesson) PACS, Medrad injectors
• Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
• Work Environment: Fast-paced trauma imaging department focusing on ER and inpatient imaging

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience with advanced CT trauma protocols
• Certification: ARRT (CT) certification required
• Education: Completion of a 2-year radiology program
• Licensure: Must hold required certification/licensure to work as a CT Tech in Pennsylvania
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Background Checks: Must complete Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Clearance (PATCH), and FBI fingerprinting (within last 2 years or new submission required) prior to start

• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed; casual wear, camouflage, and denim are not permitted
• Weekend Hours: Required every other weekend
