Radiation Therapist Travel Position
Location: Joplin, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Role: Radiation Therapist
- Specialty: Radiation Therapy
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Number of Openings: 1
- Unit: Oncology
- Patient Volume: Approximately 25-35 patients daily
- Equipment: Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator (single unit)
- Treatment Modalities: 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, SBRT
- Systems: Mosaiq R&V system, EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Missouri
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (R) VI certification
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using advanced techniques (3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, SBRT)
- Perform CT simulations to support treatment planning
- Operate Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator and Mosaiq R&V system
- Ensure accurate, safe, and compassionate patient care
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team
Work Environment & Dress Code
- Scrub color: Black
- No weekend or call requirements
- No float requirements
