Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Summary
Provide nursing care in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department with a 16-bed unit serving adult, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients. The role focuses on trauma, cardiac, stroke, head injury, eye trauma, and other emergency complaints.

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit & Patient Information
- Trauma Level: 3
- Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, pediatric, infants
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Abdominal pain, trauma, stroke, chest pain, multiple complaints
Skills & Experience
- Must have skills: Trauma, cardiac emergencies, stroke, head and eye trauma, basic emergency complaints
- Personality fit: Team player with a focus on patient experience
Additional Information
- Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs or own scrubs allowed
