Description
CT/X-Ray Technologist (Contract)
Location: Aberdeen, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Varying days Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Perform computerized tomography (CT) procedures, including invasive procedures, using a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner.
- Position and instruct patients, operate specialized equipment, and determine technical exposure factors.
- Ensure correct marking and labeling of all films.
- Provide safe, quality patient care consistent with radiology standards and hospital policies.
- Take call as required.
- Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including lifting and moving patients and equipment (up to 150 pounds for pushing stretchers).
- Use proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipment.
- Demonstrate accurate judgment and decision-making consistent with radiology knowledge and skills.
- Provide quality customer service and patient care.
- Utilize computer skills for job functions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Washington.
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- Registered ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
