Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Days)
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide care to critically ill patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
- Manage a variety of patient diagnoses including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases.
- Maintain professional nursing standards.
- Supervise CNAs, SNAs, LPNs, or other healthcare workers as assigned.
- Unit has 16 beds.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: Cerner.
- Trauma Level: III.
- Dress code: Grey.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with open heart surgery returns.
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
