Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location

Statesboro, Georgia

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
OR
5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Call required: 1-2 nights per week (1st and 2nd call), plus 1 weekend every 6 weeks

Job Description

Provide circulating nursing care in the Operating Room, including pulling supplies and equipment for cases
Assist surgeons by scrubbing and supporting during surgical procedures
Communicate with families and update physician preference cards
Supervise personnel delivering patient care
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians
Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)
