Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Location: Front Royal, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide critical, fast-paced nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures. Support cardiologists during procedures, manage sedation, monitor hemodynamics, and educate patients.

Unit Information

• Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Beds: 36 inpatient beds, 18 ER beds
• Patient Ratios: 3:1
• EMR System: EPIC (required)
• Patient Population: Cardiac and peripheral vascular patients

Schedule

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5 days a week, 8-hour shifts)
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or Compact License
• ACLS and BLS (AHA only) certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience circulating and documenting in a cardiac cath lab
• Experience with conscious sedation administration and monitoring hemodynamics
• Must have circulating experience; scrubbing experience preferred
• Ability to assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
