Description
Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Description
- Work in a Level IV Women & Infants Hospital with a 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 20-bed High Risk Unit, and 8-bed OB Triage.
- Must be trained at Level IV in Labor & Delivery.
- Experience with Magnesium and insulin drips required.
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification with advanced external fetal monitoring skills required.
Required Qualifications
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced certification.
- Ascension Fetal Monitoring certification.
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
Additional
- Current Driver’s License.
