Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Overview

• Level III trauma center with 198 beds
• Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatric, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
• Unit: Radiology (Orthopedic Radiology specialty)
• Equipment: GE imaging systems, including 2 CT scanners on main campus and 1 at outpatient center
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
• Patient population served: All ages
• Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Call requirements: Yes
• Float requirements: Yes (includes OR, ED, fluoroscopy, etc.)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Minimum 2 years of total travel experience as a Radiology Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Job Responsibilities & Skills

• Perform general radiography procedures
• Ability to float to multiple departments including OR, Emergency Department, and fluoroscopy
• Work with a diverse patient population and trauma cases (Level I, II, and III trauma cases are flown in)
