Description
Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Overview
- Level III trauma center with 198 beds
- Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatric, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
- Unit: Radiology (Orthopedic Radiology specialty)
- Equipment: GE imaging systems, including 2 CT scanners on main campus and 1 at outpatient center
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
- Patient population served: All ages
- Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Call requirements: Yes
- Float requirements: Yes (includes OR, ED, fluoroscopy, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Minimum 2 years of total travel experience as a Radiology Technologist
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Job Responsibilities & Skills
- Perform general radiography procedures
- Ability to float to multiple departments including OR, Emergency Department, and fluoroscopy
- Work with a diverse patient population and trauma cases (Level I, II, and III trauma cases are flown in)
