RN Open Heart

Contract

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- CVICU experience
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 8-hour shifts
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care using the nursing process
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on patient care planning, assessment, interventions, documentation, and discharge coordination
- Supports patient and staff safety, bedside lab testing, specimen collection, and patient/family education
