Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location

• Memphis, Tennessee
• 50-mile radius rule applies (locals within 50 miles not accepted)

Schedule

• Night shift, 4x10 hours
• Sunday to Wednesday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Schedule is fixed; no block schedule accommodations

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a CT Technologist
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Licensure

• National certification required for CT Techs assigned to Tennessee (no TN state license required)
• If assigned to Mississippi locations, MS state license is required

Certifications

• ARRT CT credentials mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) not specifically required for this role
• Other certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM) not required for this specialty

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal searches, and education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and annually thereafter
• Sex offender search and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry check required
• Two recent professional references required
• Internal evaluation required if employed with agency for one year or more

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet job demands
• Fit test for 3M N-95 masks within 1 year, must pass with no limitations
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
• Immunizations required with proof of vaccination or positive antibody titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
• Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination required
• TB testing: True 2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot within 1 year; if positive, negative chest x-ray within 2 years plus annual TB questionnaire
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 30); exemptions require mask wearing in patient areas

Documentation & Facility Requirements

• Two forms of government-issued ID required (e.g., driver’s license, social security card, passport)
• Photo badge with strict guidelines (passport-style photo, no hats, no glasses glare, no filters, taken within last 6 months)
• Submission packet including application, references, skills checklist, and license/certification info required
• Facility-specific dress code: Ceil blue top and pants with optional white lab coat or matching scrub jacket for CT Techs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
• Confidentiality acknowledgment must be signed prior to start

Additional Notes

• All Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted at time of application; late submissions will not be approved
• No acceptance of locals within 50 miles
• Schedule may be subject to change during interview based on manager needs, but currently fixed as Sunday-Wednesday nights
