Job Opportunity: Interventional Technologist I
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Job Summary
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions without surgery.
- Support procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management.
- Utilize specialized radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Act as scrub tech during procedures.
- Perform quality control, equipment maintenance, and data management tasks.
- Provide on-call clinical coverage including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- May participate in teaching and mentoring students or new team members.
Work Schedule
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, with a rotating day off.
- Call as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate degree or above in Radiologic Technology, or completion of a 2-year RCIS program.
Certifications & Licensure
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
- Cath Lab Technologist experience.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks
This position is suitable for imaging professionals beginning a career in interventional radiology or invasive cardiology, or those gaining experience in these areas.
