Description
Physical Therapist – Outpatient
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado (Willits Clinic, Basalt, CO)
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (approximately 38 hours/week)
- Weekdays only, no weekends
- Weekday schedule may vary
Job Description
- Evaluate patients and develop/implement treatment plans for various diagnoses
- Focus on improving patient strength, range of motion (ROM), balance, safety, and function
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- Position supports reducing patient wait times by increasing rehab staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid Rehabilitation Therapist license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of Rehabilitation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Physical Therapist experience
Additional Information
- Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
- CAPS requirement applies and may take up to two weeks to obtain (state-specific credentialing)
- Housing opportunity available: furnished studio and small one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (utilities, Wi-Fi, laundry included)
- No pets allowed in housing; no deposit required
- Ensure accurate Social Security number and date of birth to avoid onboarding delays
