ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Oakland, California
Position Details
- Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse
- Location: Oakland, California
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 19:00 - 7:30)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Weekend work required every other weekend and as needed by the unit.
- On-call duties as needed.
- May float to other units or campuses within scope of practice, with approximately 1.5 hours notice before shift start.
- Shuttle transportation provided if floating to different campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
- At least 6 months of total travel nursing experience.
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
