    Description

    NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

    Location: San Francisco, California
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Level III NICU care for infants 23 weeks and up
    • Experience with surgical NICU patients, cooling therapy, all respiratory modes
    • Skilled in PICC line management, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, and line insertion
    • Float responsibilities include pediatrics, PICU, and nursery units

    Shift Details

    • Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
    • No call required
    • Every other weekend off

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
    • Minimum 1 year of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
    • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
    • Certifications:
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
      • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

    Additional Requirements

    • Must complete competency exams as applicable, including medication/pharmacology and EKG/dysrhythmia competency if required
    • ICU & MS/Telemetry RNs at this location must pass an onsite EKG exam after start
    • Required to review and sign facility policies including standards of business conduct, code of conduct, vendor training, and others prior to start
    • TB screening questionnaire signed by candidate and healthcare provider within 90 days of start, renewed annually
    • References: 2 professional references within 3 years for clinical acute care candidates
