RN - Nurse Educator

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Non-Acute - Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, no weekends
Work Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Work Setting: Central office with travel to select healthcare facilities


Job Description

  • Serve as an Oncology Nurse Educator with responsibilities spanning inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Position requires travel to select facilities; details to be discussed during the interview.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York with primary source verification from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Educator, including experience within the last year.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certification.
  • Current Oncology Nurse Certification or Oncology Nurse credential.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN, ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience with solid clinical expertise.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Demonstrated oncology nursing experience and clinical expertise in medical-surgical nursing.

Additional Information

  • Position is based in a central office but requires travel to multiple healthcare facilities.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekend shifts.
