Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Lewiston, Idaho

Job Summary

• Work in a Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, Level 2 Stroke facility on the 2nd Floor Cath Lab.
• Specialty focus on Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology with Neuro and Stroke cases.
• 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours (40 hours guaranteed weekly).
• Weekend coverage is on-call/call-back only, with 10 call shifts required per month.
• Patient ratio is 1:1 in a 2-room lab environment.
• Equipment used includes Philips Xper; EHR system is Meditech.
• The unit is a platinum awarded Chest Pain Center providing stroke treatment and high-acuity care.
• Rural setting requiring a nurse who can quickly adapt with minimal onboarding.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho.
• Minimum of 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Preferred Experience

• Interventional Radiology Cath Lab experience, especially with neuro and stroke cases.
• Familiarity with cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants, angiograms, cerebral interventions, AAA, and TCAR procedures.

Additional Information

• The position requires 10 call shifts per month.
• No float requirements.
• The role demands a nurse comfortable with a high-acuity, fast-paced rural lab environment.
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.

Shift Details

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (typically 4 x 10-hour shifts).
• On-call/call-back on weekends only.
