    Description

    NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

    Location: Santa Rosa, California
    Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Summary

    • Provide assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in a Level III or IV NICU acute patient setting.
    • Deliver holistic, individualized care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
    • Responsible for direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
    • Charge nurse and high-risk delivery experience strongly preferred.
    • Floating as needed; every other weekend required; voluntary call.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with NICU experience within the last year.
    • Certifications:
      • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
      • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
    • Experience in charge nurse roles.
