Description
CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Assignment
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
- 750-bed hospital with a busy CT department averaging ~130 scans per day
- 24/7 staffing: lead tech plus three techs on dayshift, split shift 9a-9p, and one night shift tech 7p-7a (aiming for two but limited by staffing)
- Equipment includes GE scanners (64 slice and above), PACS, and FUJI Synapse EMR (Meditech)
Typical Procedures
- CTA chest, neck, abdomen
- CTA cardiac studies (Structural Heart program)
- CT head with stroke protocol
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- Assessment of CT technologist skills and knowledge or education on handling hazardous drugs according to USP 800 standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GE scanners
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Work Environment & Culture
- Team-oriented with good interdepartmental collaboration
- Dependable and prompt professionals preferred
- Dress code: black scrubs (not provided)
Additional Notes
- This is a travel assignment in a high-volume, fast-paced trauma and stroke center environment
- Candidates without the required skills and certifications will not be considered
