Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Reston, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (9-bed pre and post area, currently one cath lab)
- Staffing: 5 to 6 staff per day (3 staff for elective cases)
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RCIS, 3 to 4 nurses
- Night Shift: Not open
- Equipment: Mac Lab and Philips C-arm
- EMR System: CPOE
- Typical Procedures: Heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
Work Schedule
- Hours per week: 36
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided by hospital

- Candidates without the required RCIS skills and certifications will not be considered.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
