Description
CT Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Pottsville, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: 2x12 hr (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and 2x8 hr (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Schedule rotates every 2 weeks with a mix of day and night shifts
- No on-call required
- Scrub color: Any
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- ARRT (R) (CT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Must submit Return to Office (RTO) documentation upon submission
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Comprehensive background check covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, including:
- SSN Trace
- County, State, Nationwide Criminal Search
- Sex Offender Search
- PA PATCH (Pennsylvania State Police Search)
- Education Verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
- Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Fingerprint Results required within 90 days of start (all pages must be uploaded)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search required within 90 days of start
- Pennsylvania Medicheck Search required within 30 days of start (not required for 100% remote non-clinical candidates)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 2 months of start
- Fit test completed onsite (not required for 100% remote non-clinical candidates)
- Immunizations and titers required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (QGold or T-Spot within 90 days, or 2 PPDs with one within 90 days)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer or completed vaccine series (declinations not accepted)
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Drug testing: Negative 10 Panel within 60 days of start (negative 9 Panel without THC also acceptable)
- COVID-19: Fully vaccinated or signed declination with facility-specific form
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved exemption required for clinical staff
- Respirator Safety Clearance required for all candidates starting 04/07/2025 and beyond, with annual medical clearance
Competency and Testing Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (for RNs)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (for RNs & LVNs, not applicable here but noted for reference)
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) for RNs & LVNs (not applicable here but noted for reference)
Documentation and Verification
- Minimum of 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start
- Complete employment application including 7 years of work history with explanations for gaps over 90 days
- Education and license/certification verification prior to start
- National certification/verification as applicable by profession and state
- Signed acknowledgment of Orientation Safety Manual and Pass/Fail Testing (if applicable)
- Photo for badge required for new candidates starting 3/31/2025 or later (photo must be recent, forward-facing, color, no hats/masks/filters)
- Badge request form required for new candidates starting before 3/30/2025
Additional Notes
- No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted
- No on-call duties
- Background checks and fingerprinting have specific timelines and detailed submission requirements
- Some health and background requirements are waived for 100% remote non-clinical candidates, but this role is clinical and onsite
