Description
Radiology Tech/X-Ray Tech
Location
- Southfield, Michigan
Job Summary
- Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures under general supervision.
- May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
- Work settings include Emergency Room (ER), Inpatient, and Outpatient units.
- Trauma Level 2 facility.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Either 4 shifts of 10 hours (2100-0700) or 3 shifts of 12 hours (1900-0700)
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Radiology Technologist experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Healthcare Provider level)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GE and Phillips imaging equipment
- Knowledge of radiation protection, anatomical analysis, patient care standards, infection control, sterile equipment setup, clinical data review, patient preparation, and radiologic procedures
