Cardiovascular Operating Room Tech

Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Shift: 12-hour Days, with call (start times may vary)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting with heavy cardiac and open heart (OH) experience required.
• Call required approximately 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week (end of shift to 6:30 am).
• Floating required; travelers are the first to float and may be assigned to other nearby campuses within a 50-mile radius.
• Expected to integrate fully with the unit culture and function as core staff.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a CVOR with heavy cardiac/open heart cases.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
