Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Location

• Rancho Mirage, California

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts: 0600–1830
• 30-minute call-back requirement
• Regular weekday shifts
• Weekends are on call
• Approximately 1 weekend of call per month
• Start ASAP

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the specialty area

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for the assigned patient population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments and required documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and discharge planning
• Use SBAR communication and support patient/family education
• Contribute to quality improvement, professional development, and unit-based initiatives
• May be required to work at alternate sites
