Physical Therapist (Inpatient Rehab) - Travel Assignment

Location: Gilbert, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)


Job Description

Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation therapy to adult patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, cardiac conditions, and falls. Work with a patient load of approximately 8 patients per therapist, supported by 1-2 assistants and 1 rehab tech. Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including Vector, Litegait, Saeto, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody. Documentation is completed at point of care using the UDS electronic health record system.

  • Inpatient rehab unit with 40 beds
  • Patient population: Adult
  • Float option available to a sister facility located 8 miles away

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Details

  • Typical diagnoses treated: Neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and fall-related conditions
  • Scrub color: Wine
  • Parking: Any non-visitor parking in front lot or any spaces in back lot

No prior travel experience required.
