ER RN

Location

  • Phoenix, Arizona

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Day shift, 12 hours
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • RN license
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • 2 years of ER experience
  • 2 years of core experience in the specialty
  • Level I trauma experience
  • Level I trauma and teaching experience
  • Cerner experience
  • Must have been away from CommonSpirit as permanent staff for 12 months to be considered for a travel assignment
  • Must not be working another assignment or contract at the same time
  • Must pass the dysrhythmia exam before acceptance
  • Must complete onboarding by the stated deadline

Preferred Qualifications

  • TNCC
  • ATCN

Schedule / Work Expectations

  • Weekly orientations on Mondays except during holiday weeks
  • 4 weekend shifts per month
  • Floating within the ER and between listed affiliated facilities
  • May be expected to work around nursing students in a teaching hospital
  • Must be able to read telemetry strips

Additional Notes

  • Travel teams must have their own vehicle
  • No facial piercings
  • Natural hair colors only
  • Men must be clean shaven for fit testing
  • Navy scrubs required
  • ENPC cannot replace PALS
  • Trauma bays do not take travelers
