Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel/Contract
Location: Kingsport, Tennessee
Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
Job Details
- Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 7:00)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, no call
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 1:7
- Floats Required: Yes
- Unit Types: Orthopedics, Spine, Medical-Surgical
- Orientation: 16 hours non-billable; general orientation begins Sundays (online CBLs)
- Travel Distance: Must live within 100 miles of the facility
- Additional Info:
- Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
- Overtime shifts available and may be flexed based on census/resource needs
- Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
