Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg travel position requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior Med/Surg or telemetry experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- 36-hour weekly work commitment
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Prior Med/Surg and/or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
- Local candidates are not accepted — candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
