CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Aventura, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 18
• Staff: 8 total (Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs)
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs
  • Night Shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs (varies by volume)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Equipment: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
• EMR System: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body Scans
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Certification (CT)
• Radiology Tech License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE equipment
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• RT (T) and ASRT certifications
• FASRT certification
