CT/RAD Tech - Contract Opportunity

Location: Alamosa, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

Seeking a CT/Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Team on a travel contract. The role involves performing CT and radiologic procedures following prescribed techniques, maintaining equipment and quality control, and supporting general office duties related to imaging services.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 6 months (0.5 years) experience as a CT Technologist
• Recent CT Technologist experience within the last year

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiologic procedures, including equipment adjustment and patient positioning
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure
• Clean x-ray room and equipment daily
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain reports specific to procedures performed
• Conduct diagnostic testing and general maintenance on imaging equipment
• Assist with scheduling, answering phones, filing, and patient coordination as needed
• Participate in call assignments as scheduled

Shift Details

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM with call
• Monday/Tuesday: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM rotating call
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Rotating call Fridays (approximately every 8th Friday)
