Overview

Specialty: RN Telemetry I
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Unit focus: Med-surg telemetry
Schedule expectation: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Telemetry (3 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance

Resume with all employment and gaps from the last 7 years accounted for, education history included, and all dates in MM/YY format
Two professional references: one supervisor reference from employment within the last 12 months, and one supervisor or peer reference from employment within the last 3 years
Employment verification for the most recent employer
Agency background check completed within 30 days of start, including county criminal searches, national criminal check, FACIS 3 check, SSN address trace, and all aliases
9+ panel drug screen excluding marijuana
TB testing meeting one of the stated acceptable formats, with annual requirement
Physical/health statement within the past 12 months showing no restrictions
Fit test completed prior to start and within the last 12 months
MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination as specified
Tdap within the last 10 years or declination as specified
