Travel Registered Nurse — Emergency Department

Overview

  • Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

  • Setting: Emergency Department, Level 3 Trauma

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Mexico
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • ENPC
  • TNCC
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

  • NRP

Additional Requirements

  • Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
  • Must be able to call out at least 2 hours before shift start
  • Auto offers only; no interviews
  • Blocked scheduling not approved
  • 48-hour guarantees not approved
  • Maximum 1 RTO per schedule
  • 6-week scheduling
  • RTO blackout dates or required holidays may apply
  • Full uniform, any color scrubs
  • EMR used: MedHost (EDIS)

  • Provides emergency nursing care using the nursing process
  • Performs assessments, communicates findings, administers medications, monitors side effects, and documents patient care
  • Supports safe care delivery through critical thinking, leadership, and supervision of assigned personnel
