RN Telemetry Travel Assignment

Overview

• Travel RN role in Springfield, Missouri
• Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekly hours: 36 or 48, as selected on the submission form
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• One opening
• Auto-offer position

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Inpatient setting experience
• Driver's License
• Experience and competence in drug titration

Schedule and Work Setting

• Weekend coverage as required by the facility
• No call required
• Floating required on a rotational basis
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and requires availability for the entire week

Clinical Setting

• Medical telemetry unit
• Patient population includes medical, med tele, and respiratory patients
• Ratios vary by shift and are not guaranteed

Compliance

• Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for travelers from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Working Conditions

• Frequent standing and walking
• Significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
• May require pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs
• Minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• High exposure risk to blood and body fluids

Additional Notes

• Black scrubs required
• EPIC is used for charting
