Description

Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location

  • Meridian, Idaho

Assignment Details

  • 13-week travel assignment
  • 12-hour evening shifts
  • Start: ASAP
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Idaho
  • ED - Emergency Department (2.5 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • ENPC
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Work Setting

  • Emergency department with adult and pediatric patients
  • High-acuity environment
  • Trauma Level IV, STEMI Level I, Stroke Level II
  • Separate triage area
  • Intermixed ER holds
  • 45 beds total
  • Security present in the ER
  • RT available 24/7
  • RNs read and interpret cardiac monitors

Schedule and Coverage

  • 12-hour shifts with varying start times
  • No block scheduling
  • Minimum of 2 weekends in 6 weeks
  • Holidays as needed
  • No call or standby
  • Rare floating to other ERs

Additional Notes

  • Clean, professional attire required
  • One shift of unit-specific orientation after hospital and Epic orientation
  • Radius rule applies for candidate address verification
