RN - ED

Location

Butte, Montana

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

  • Night shift
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Montana
  • Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Emergency Department experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
  • ACLS, PALS, and TNCC as appropriate for the unit or service

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
  • Provide health teaching and counseling
  • Perform delegated medical functions and other assigned duties
  • Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications as needed
  • Work on-call during a regularly scheduled shift if required
