Job Overview

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment type: Travel
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Supports patients with activities of daily living and provides patient/family education.
Assists with labor, delivery, C-sections, neonatal assessment, and recovery care for surgical patients.
May be asked to float to another unit as helping hands or sitter based on census.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Valid RN license in Wyoming.
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
Women's Services experience.
Level 1 Nursery experience.
Post Partum experience.
OB/GYN experience.
LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience.
ACLS.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
NRP.
STABLE.
AWHONN.

Additional Notes

Fetal monitoring certification classes are attended every two years.
STABLE certification class is attended if offered and the nurse is NRP certified.
