Job Overview

  • Location: Lander, Wyoming
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

  • Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Supports patients with activities of daily living and provides patient/family education.
  • Assists with labor, delivery, C-sections, neonatal assessment, and recovery care for surgical patients.
  • May be asked to float to another unit as helping hands or sitter based on census.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid RN license in Wyoming.
  • 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
  • Women's Services experience.
  • Level 1 Nursery experience.
  • Post Partum experience.
  • OB/GYN experience.
  • LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience.
  • ACLS.
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association.
  • NRP.
  • STABLE.
  • AWHONN.

Additional Notes

  • Fetal monitoring certification classes are attended every two years.
  • STABLE certification class is attended if offered and the nurse is NRP certified.
