Description
RN - Telemetry
Overview
- Travel nursing assignment in Springfield, Missouri
- Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- One opening
- Auto-offer position
- Weekend coverage as required by the facility
- No call required
- Will float on a rotational basis
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Driver's License
- Experience and competence in drug titration
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification from AHA
- Orthopedic experience
Unit Details
- Orthopedic/neuro unit
- 27 beds
- Typical patient ratios vary by shift
- Patients include orthopedics, post-trauma, surgical, and medical comorbidities
Work Conditions
- Standing and walking most of the time
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
- May require differing schedules, shifts, days, or work frequency based on patient care needs
- High risk of exposure to blood and body fluids
- Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs, pinching up to 15 lbs, and minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Additional Notes
- Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and requires availability for the entire week
- Black scrubs required
- Torn clothes, open-toed shoes, and non-scrub attire are not allowed
