    Description

    Cath Lab RN

    Location

    Monterey, California

    Contract Length

    13 weeks

    Shift

    • Day shift
    • 8 hours per day
    • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
    • Call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
    • Call response time: 30 minutes

    Required Qualifications

    • Current California Fluoro permit
    • BLS (AHA)
    • ACLS (AHA)
    • NIHSS
    • 2 years of experience in the specialty

    Preferred Qualifications

    • RCIS
    • Structural heart experience
    • Epic familiarity

    Job Responsibilities

    • Work in the Cath Lab
    • May float to EP depending on experience
    • May need to pre-op and recover patients
    • May need to take total patient care assignments

    Unit Details

    • Full-service lab with 2 cath lab suites and 1 EP lab
    • Typical cases include PCI, pacemaker, STEMI, diagnostic, TAVR, and Watchman procedures
    • Average daily volume: 6–7 cath cases and 4–5 EP cases

    Additional Notes

    • Smoke-free facility
    • Negative nicotine/cotinine drug screen required
    • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
    • Orientation is 2–3 shifts depending on experience
    • Scrubs are provided
