Description
CT Technologist
Location
- Aurora, Colorado
Contract
- 8 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification in CT
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- 1 year of experience in CT
- IV proficiency
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
Clinical Setting
- Department has 1 scanner/room
- Average volume is 15–20 scans/studies per day
- In-house radiologist coverage is available Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm
- A supervisor or lead technologist is available at all times
Duties and Coverage
- Routine musculoskeletal, body, and CTA studies, including head/neck, PE, and some lower-extremity exams
- May float to X-ray or MRI if credentialed
- Must start IVs
