    RN - Emergency Dept

    Job Overview

    • Travel RN position in the Emergency Department
    • Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    • Hours per week: 36
    • Contract length: 13 weeks

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in Colorado
    • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
    • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
    • ACLS
    • BLS
    • NIHSS
    • PALS
    • CPI
    • TNCC
    • ENPC
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in a large hospital setting
    • Prior Meditech experience

    Unit Details

    • Emergency Room
    • 18 beds
    • Typical nurse staffing includes 2 day-shift RNs, 2 night-shift RNs, and some mid-shift coverage
    • Typical patient ratio is usually 4:1, depending on acuity

    • Freestanding ED converted to a hospital-based ED
    • On-site support includes respiratory therapy, house supervisor coverage, med/surg and ICU staff support, full lab services, and radiology services including CT, MRI, echo, x-ray, and ultrasound
