Description
Cath Lab RN
Location
- Merced, California
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Travel contract
Schedule
- Day shift
- 10-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Start time is usually 7:00 AM, with flexibility needed for earlier or later scheduled cases
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Job Details
- RNs must circulate
- Scrubbing is not required
- Experience with PCIs, peripheral procedures, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters is needed
- Knowledge of balloon pumps is preferred
- STEMI experience is a plus
- New nurses may be trained on this unit
Additional Information
- MyJourney modules will be assigned during orientation
- Cerner and Sensis are used
- GE equipment is used
- Cath lab techs scrub
- No call is currently required
- Housing is provided (at additional cost)
