Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with conventional ventilators (Draeger)
Experience with high frequency ventilators (jet and oscillator)
Nitric oxide experience
Cool cap experience
MedFusion pumps experience
Smart pumps experience
Spacelab monitors experience
MAK medication system experience
Accudose experience
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Schedule

12-hour day/night rotating shifts
Every other weekend required

Unit Details

40-bed unit
Typical nurse-to-patient ratios:
- 1:1 to 1:2 for critical and intermediate infants
- 3:1 for infants who are growing and feeding

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to neonates
Assist with procedures including intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, admissions
Perform neonatal assessments and care for IVs, umbilical lines, CPAP, nasal cannula, oral and IV medications, OG and NG feedings, and G-tubes

Additional Notes

Epic experience is highly preferred
Candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
Candidates within 60 to 80 miles are subject to a reduced local travel rate
The hiring manager will interview candidates directly before an offer is made
