Description
Interventional Radiology RN
Location
Phoenix, Arizona
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Start times vary between 0700-1730 and 0730-1800 based on need
- Occasional Saturday coverage, about 1-2 times per month
- Holiday coverage may be needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 2 years of experience
- Neuro IR experience
- Level I trauma experience
- Experience in pre-op, PACU, or ICU
- Must be able to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
- Must pass a day 1 pass/fail SIMs lab
Assignment Details
- Interventional radiology setting with body IR focus
- Pre- and post-procedural care for patients receiving conscious sedation and general anesthesia
- No call
- 5 angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine support
- Cerner used for charting
- Scrubs are supplied
Patient Population
- Outpatient and inpatient patients, including critical care and telemetry patients
Additional Notes
- Travel teams must have their own vehicle
- Natural hair color required
- No facial piercings
- Men must be clean shaven for fit testing
