ER Registered Nurse
Location
- Middletown, New York
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Weekends: 3 per month
- Holidays: every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- CPI
Unit Details
- Emergency Department with approximately 48 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
- Telemetry monitoring used
- ED tech support available
- No charge nurse
- No IV team
- Respiratory therapy available 24/7, but does not respond to the ED
- Pharmacy available 24/7
- Hospitalist or intensivist in house
- Floating limited to ED care areas

- Sepsis

- Level II trauma center
- 24-hour cath lab
- Designated stroke center
