Operating Room RN
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Portland, Maine
- Operating room setting
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Schedule
- Weekend requirement: 1:4 weekends
- Call requirement: one overnight trauma call from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM; specialty team call follows team-specific rules
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Ortho Trauma experience
- Neurosurgery experience
Preferred
- CNOR
- Experience in general, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, ortho joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, or endovascular cases
Unit Details
- 26-bed operating room
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Teal scrubs are issued by the hospital
