Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
CVICU (1 year of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of minimum recent CSICU experience
Experience with Epic

Education

Nursing Diploma, or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate patient care in a hospital setting using the nursing process
Assess patients, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
Deliver care for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and support continuity of care
Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and professional development activities
