RN Procedural

13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Night and weekend call required

Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
Experience Notes
- May require completion of orientation and ability to function independently in the assigned specialty area before being assigned to this position
Job Duties
- Provide nursing care under general supervision
- Care for an assigned group of patients
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
- Note changes in physician orders for assigned patients
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
- Obtain and monitor physiological data
- Observe physiological manifestations and intervene when necessary
- Administer medication as prescribed
- Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
- Deliver patient care competently
- Share the care plan with patients and families during hospitalization and at discharge
- Oversee treatment provided by technicians or other service providers
- Inform patients and families of hospital procedures
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
- Delegate tasks to support staff
